Cottage #101 - Port Elgin                       4 Stars

Location:

A four minute walk to sand beach. Attractive family cottage in the area called 'Gobles Grove' located at the south end of Port Elgin.

For your Comfort:    

This three season cottage has been in the same family for over 50 years.   This cottage features 3 bedrooms on the main level, two section family room with a large stone fireplace,  3 piece bathroom and a large eat in kitchen. The upstairs loft area is accessed by a folding stairway and includes a library sitting area with a walk-out to the upper deck and an upstairs loft bedroom. Kitchen is well equiped including fridge, stove, microwave, pots & pans,dishes and a washer/dryer unit.

Outdoors Set amongst a natural forest setting surrounded by a blanket of periwinkle, the outside patio is equipped with a Propane Barbecue and a small firepit unit. There is an outside back area flagstone porch with an outside hot&cold shower set-up. Access to the sandy beach is about a 4 minute walk across the road from the cottage. Directions will be provided at the cottage. Excellent for swimming and for kids. Beautiful sunsets down on the beach (take your lawn chair) and a warm evening breeze are part of the summer experience at 'Goble's Grove".
Facilities:

Due to the limitations of the smaller septic holding tank, this cottage is best suited for a maximum of 6 people. Natural stone fireplace offers a real crackling fire for those cool evenings. Colour TV, DVD, VCR.

Cottage #102 -  Sauble Beach - Beach View        4 Stars

Location:  This modern and immaculate house is perfect for a small family for its location, close to the sand beach (about 300 steps) and within a 15 minute walk to Main Street.

For Your Comfort:  This is a a very clean and modern cottage with all the facilities of home in an upscale neighbourhood of permanent homes.  Close to everything.
Facilities

The 2 bedroom home has a large kitchen complete with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and all the dishes that will be required by a family of 5.    One bedroom has a double bed and the second has two twin beds.  If you need another bed, the living room couch will accommodate a 5th person.

 Cottage has a colour TV with a satellite dish, with movie channels provided.   And there's even a washer and dryer.

Outdoors

Very spacious lawns that are well cared for and beautiful gardens.  A back deck with nice outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ. 

Take your coffee to the back deck as the sun rises every morning over. Take your coffee to the front patio every evening as the sun sets over Canada's finest sand beach. .

For the Children: 

There is a fire pit for marshmallow roasting and a spacious flat lawn for those impromptu pick up games of football or baseball.   And of course, the sand beach is just a quick stroll directly done the roadway in front of your cottage.
